I absolutely love this song, the musicnotes arrangement is amazing and incredibly accurate! I would not recommend this piece to people without advanced piano experience because it is quite a challenging piece, but all the more rewarding.

If you are looking to play this song in the original key and the way Billy Joel plays it on the original recording, this sheet music arrangement is for you. From the opening intro vamp to various fills, youll get your moneys worth for sure. This sheet music is for the musicians who have the skills to pull off the piano playing and sing along with it - it is not so much a rendering to play an instrumental version of it, though it can serve as that also. Depending on your expertise of the instrument, youll either find it somewhat easy or a bit difficult to get it tight and smooth but it is definitely worth the price.

This is a piano/vocal version but what is really good for me as a pianist is that it has what seems to be an accurate transcription of the piano solo parts in what sounds to me like the original studio recorded version of a song Billy Joel has done many many times over his career. The piano intro takes up the first 2 pages. This is not something Ive seen in fake books, and Im not good enough to cobble together an into ... so I need the transcription. Also worth noting is passages for strings and sax are included where these become featured on the recording. So its a very complete 14 page (!) rendering. My wife is a singer and loves the Singer Pro versions but often these open up new insights into the accompaniment for us keyboard players.

This arrangement is essentially a transcription of the recording. And because it is it means a lot of page turning back and forth. If you are looking for a solo piano arrangement this really isnt what you want, although you could adapt it if you are good at reading chord changes, but I would recommend a lead sheet instead. If you are accompanying a singer, than this will work.
