MD easy arrangements are simple and accessible versions of popular, jazz and classical pieces aimed at those in the first couple of years of learning the piano. Arranged by a professional piano teacher of many years’ experience, they aim to give the pianist as much help as possible in the learning process. Many arrangements contain a clearly worked out system of fingering which aims to minimise hand position movement especially in the left hand. Some pieces have the melody woven through both hands and some notes are coloured red to highlight important changes of hand position or contractions or extensions of the current position. In some arrangements, I have added lyrics to help with the rhythms and I have as far as possible tried to maintain the original harmonic framework. Most pieces are in the key of C major for easy reading. Happy practising!
