Displaying all reviews (1)David Lanz is an outstanding composer of instrumental "New Age" (for a sample of recorded music of this genre - for those not familiar with it - search and listen to George Winston or Philip Aaberg for piano music and Alex De Grassi, for example, for guitar) genre music for the piano/keyboard. I have two sheet music albums with Lanzs beautiful piano compositions, including "Painting The Sun". Like other wonderful musical artists who write their own variations of other composers music for the piano/keyboard, Lanz has written his own "New Age" (or easy listening) variation of this classic American song.
