This is a tough piece to play; however, if the arrangement annotations are carefully followed it is absolutely gorgeous! Its subtle, but screams listen to me! Do not need strings to support this...if its played well. Feel it and throw out the metronome.

I love the original and so I am very happy to have a piano arrangement that I have pleasure playing. The difficulty is that the climax, about 3/4 of the way through the piece, is too faithful. That is, as in the original for string quartet, all the notes are in the high treble. On the piano, this sounds far too shrill. The voicing should have included more notes in the mid-range, so that the echo could then be even lower. However, doing that in the score might have raised the ire of some MusicNotes customers.
