Reviews
Displaying all reviews (3)This is as good as it gets. Theres no showing off, just faithfulness to the original. It works wondrously well as a piano solo. People tend to like to sing or hum along, un-self-consciously and happily. It is easy to understand why this is one of the most covered songs of all times. Thank you for making it feel so rich and full without being overpowering.

Im not sure how someone can screw up a simple arrangement of Yesterday, but someone did. The first page of this looks promising. But on the second page where the song goes into one of the more complex chord areas, ("Why she had to go I dont know, she wouldnt say..."), this arrangement drops out of all the potentially-wonderful, complex, diverse chord possibilities and instead reverts to some single-note, sparse, counter melody that leaves out so much of the musicality of that moment. So disappointing.
The ending was also... elementary. I devised a much better ending (still not the best but, better) just by going minor and then resolving it.
Still looking for a better Yesterday, though.
