I have always loved this song -- the tune, the words, the message, the feel. And this arrangement is no different. If youre looking for a good arrangement of this song that doesnt distract from the singer and the message in the song, this is a good arrangement to have. We have used this piece several times at my church. We also have a choir arrangement of this song that our choir sings at almost every revival we hold each year.

This song is one of my all-time favorite sacred pieces. Ive performed it a number of times, using different arrangements. I personally prefer Tom Fettkes arrangement, but this arrangement is still a wonderful mix of gentleness and strength, and the message of the song is enhanced and uplifted throughout. This arrangement also matches the excellent performance track available from Chris Machens website.
