Displaying all reviews (8)Great arrangement... easy to read as usual from music notes. The absolute only thing I would like to see on this copy is the chord changes as i am a singer and not a pianist, so it would be easier for me to rehearse with the chord changes.

This is such a beautiful song. This arrangement matches the widely accepted "definitive" edition of this song. This is as good as you will find in any in-print edition on the market today.

This is excellently arranged. Sounds just like it does in the musical. Ive had a great time working on this piece with some friends who are all very impressed with the arrangement as well. It is quite difficult to learn though, it being Sondheim, so if you plan to learn this piece then know that it may take some time.

Short on time, I’ve elected to download this tune rather than transpose it myself from a Sondheim WBP album for my wife. Imagine my surprise to see the tune goes up a tone on page 5! It’s great to have all the lyrics, but musicnotes should warn that this arrangement goes up a tone midway through. It’ll cost me another 6 bucks to get it in the best keys!!

I read through all the details available on the site as I was certain their was a key change in the song. But nothing mentioned a modulation until I read a review. That is important arrangement information.
