One of my favourite all time pieces, fits in with the sound recording nicely, the fact that you can change the key makes it easy to play on less traditional instruments as well.

Easy to follow song sheet. Had the original Sheet Music and misplaced it. This copy is as I had remembered it

This is a good piano arrangement of Mason Wiliams guitar hit. I did find the arpegiated rubato intro to lack character. The bass is mostly a single note throughout, this could be embellished. There is only one dynamic marking in the entire piece and no tempo marking, which leaves a lot to interpretation. Overall it seems fairly true to the original. Same key as original. One may find the different time signitures difficult and also the melody being behind the bar, ie starting on beat 6 of 6. It is a fun piece of music that is not too difficult to learn.

This arrangement is very "playable" for a pianist returning after years of not playing. Its a nice "breather" from trying to come up to speed in the old classical repertoire.
