This particular arrangement of Bridge Over Troubled Water is the closest I have seen to the authentic transcription of the original recording. If you love this song, as I do, and enjoy singing along while you play, I highly encourage you to get this arrangement! The arrangement is designed to sing along, however it is so "full" that it will sound great even without singing! Enjoy!

Sometimes students need to know the historical reasons behind the composition of some songs to be able to vocalize them properly. I have them investigate the late 60s to see why this was such an important song. This song does just that for the student and they "get it" on why the song is timeless.

Unfortunately, I have found that it is always necessary to check for errors in the transpositions supplied by Musicnotes. They are not of a professional standard. In this case there were four incorrect notes in the 4th measure from the end.

No one can sing this better than Art Garfunkel, so put on the song a play along. This is so close to the original arrangement, only the ending is slightly off. The key is dead on, and the baseline is basically a walking baseline so I think even a beginner might want to give this a try. You have to add the grace notes to get the real effect. Might be the most beautiful song ever written! A must learn for ever pianist.

I think the music is great! I am just having issues with a printer right now and am excited about getting it printed out. The sound is very similar to the original of Simon and Garfunkel.
