Torna a Surriento

Torna a Surriento9/10/2011 6:20:17 PMOne of the greatest Neapolitan folk songs ever. The words vary a great deal, and are much richer than those provided by MusicNotes. I collected the words as sung by talking to cafe waiters, bartenders, fisherman by the harbourside in Naples during the summers of 1968-76. (Needless to say, there are no authoritative text; being a popular song people often make up their own words round the basic skeleton in MusicNotes.
