Wendy Tou

Pianist and Harpist, passionate musician and teacher based in South Derbyshire. Wendy has been creative all her life, she first learned to play the violin aged five. At age nine she was introduced to the piano, fell in love and went on to pass ABRSM grade 8 with merit. Wendy excelled as a performer and was always creating her own arrangements or writing music for voice, stringed and wind instruments. Her experience in the early days had been in classical music, hymns in church and school orchestras. Recently she started harp lessons and passed ABRSM grade 8 with distinction after learning for two years. Wendy completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Aberdeen and a Masters in Education at the University of Edinburgh. She has extensive experience in early years education, health and social research and is also an accomplished artist/illustrator. Always one to pursue her next adventure Wendy has opened her own art and music school.
