Matthew Graves

Matt Graves is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). Earned a B.A. music education at NIU 1995. Was a public/private band director and trombone player for Waukegan PS 60 and Walther Christian Academy. Also earned BS Information Technology at DeVry University, 2002. Worked as a network administrator for various small companies in the Chicagoland area. I've always liked the song "Jesus Loves Me" for its simple yet powerful musical effect and Christian message. I have always aspired to write my own "Jesus Loves Me" song without copying the original. "Jesus Loves Us Too" is a simple song for children's Sunday schools, that describes a few of Jesus's miracles and the Gospel message. It makes the subtle point that Jesus did awesome miracles for those in his time on Earth, and since he loves us too, continues to work miracles in our lives as well.
