Allwell Nwankwo | Choral Music Composer & Arranger

Dr Allwell Nwankwo is a Nigerian musician, arranger, and publisher dedicated to reviving the timeless tradition of hymns. He is the founder and director of The Hymns Project (THP), a 50-member choral group based in Lagos that has produced three albums and curated uplifting hymn concerts blending organ, descant, and classical choral traditions. Through THP’s YouTube channel and live performances, his work brings sacred music to new audiences while preserving its historical richness. Beyond performance, Allwell leads a children’s publishing initiative that expands access to faith-based and educational literature, and he continues to compose and arrange sacred choral works—ranging from traditional hymn settings to original anthems, such as "O Father, I Thank You." His music is featured on various platforms, serving choirs and worship communities worldwide.
