This is an extremely faithful transcription of the original recording, and an excellent arrangement. If you play it note-by-note from the music (rather than improvising off the chords--and you'd be hard pressed to improve upon it as written), it is necessary to carefully work out a fingering that works for you to achieve the legato style desired. Be aware that if you are planning to both play and sing the piece yourself, the lyrics are frequently offset against the accompaniment. My plan is to get the piano part "locked in" first, then to try to add the vocals on top of it later, and probably by "feel" rather than by intellectualizing it and trying to count it out as printed.
