Displaying all reviews (6)Very good arrangement. Some of the spans in the left hand towards the end of the piece may be a problem for small hands.

When I was searching for a song to do for my Acting the Song class I instantly went to this arrangement. It was perfect for my voice and was extremely accurate to the way it is in the musical.

To Whom It May Concern:
Hello; Today on 2/4/16, I purchased "Send in the Clowns" by Stephen Sondheim. I purchased it and attempted to print it in a hurry, and unfortunately only the third page printed out. I was rushing to school and was trying to get someone from Musicnotes Customer Service on the phone to see how we could fix the situation. I ended up leaving a voicemail, but being impatient, I called back 20 minutes later and was able to get a hold of someone. I cannot remember the womans name that I spoke with, but the poor lady could hardly hear me because I was in my car. Finally she asked if I had called earlier and I said yes and that I left a voicemail. Her co-worker Rich had just gotten back to me and left me a voicemail as I was speaking with her. Rick was able to give me two extra prints and I successfully used one when I arrived at school. I try not to be "that" customer and I hope I didnt come across that way on the phone.
I thank both Rich and the lady whose name I cannot remember, (hopefully it can be traced?) for being patient with me on the phone, and for Richs voicemail explaining which steps to take next.
Thank you both for your excellent service!
Best Wishes,

What can I say that hasnt been said? If you give it your own deep feeling and forget about what every other pop stylist has done with it, its a great dramatic song... wistful, sad, yearning, resigned, mature, sweet, loving and even upbeat. It is beautiful and the lyrics are amazing. I love Sondheim when he writes like this!

I had actually never heard this before my singing teacher put it in front of me, although I did know it existed. Its a gorgeous song and I wish Id added it to my repertoire sooner.
