Green the Whole Year 'Round

I really liked this song! It wasnt very difficult, but it was a bit long. If you have a voice that works well with more classical songs, this is a good one.

"Green The Whole Year Round" has always been one of my favorites when watching Celtic Woman on PBS shows and recently when I was looking to find the perfect song for a choir member to sing, a light bulb clicked over my head and I said, "Perfect!" However, I didnt want to have to buy the entire CD to get Lisa Kellys lovely rendition, neither did I want to have to sit in front of You Tube and lift the accompaniment off (by ear) and painstakingly write the lyrics by going back and forth on the You Tube. Then I thought about musicnotes.com. What a convenience it is for a transplanted Texan, new to British Columbia, to be able to obtain music and not have the hassle of the two-week turnaround of snail mail, not to mention other hassles! The arrangement is simple enough for an intermediate student to accomplish, and lyrical enough to sound almost as good as the Celtic Woman rendition. I would highly recommend this arrangement. Ive taught music for thirty years and literally cried over some of the sheet music presenting many popular entertainers songs. Thank you musicnotes.

An excellent song for Christmas, altho it is also a general love song. Great range and very singable. Accompanimnet is quite accessable.
