I purchased the sheet music for this song, so I could learn 16 measures from it for an audition were having at church. Being "the opposite of an altino", and having to be trained as a tenor although Im a woman, have kept me away from musical theater songs for years. I actually had to ask friends who are into musical theater if they knew of any songs for tenor that were not love songs. "A Bit Of Earth" was one of the songs they mentioned. The sheet music was very easy to understand, and follow along with, as I listened to a recording to learn the song quickly for the audition. I am happy to say, I will be doing my audition tomorrow, with my 16 measures picked out and prepared. Thanks so much for the sheet music download. It was extremely helpful in the preparation process!
