I love this song and this arrangement is fantastic! Jason Robert Browns music is always so much fun to play and very pianistically written (ie it fits under the hands very well) and this arrangement does the song justice! As an accompanist, I am often left feeling despondent after having played a terrible arrangement because if I dont add in so much to the piano part (often on the spot after been given the music at the last minute), I sound like a bad pianist! I can play exactly whats on the page of this arrangement and be very happy with the end result and know that I have done my duty as an accompanist - enhanced the singers performance!

This is only one of many great songs written by Jason Robert Brown. It brings tears to my eyes to sing it and my friends feedback is similar after hearing it performed to them.

We are big JRB fans. This song was only released on his album of songs he didnt use in shows he wrote. Surprised to find the sheet music so easy.

The message of this song is pretty well-representative of the way this song is treated. Its a great piece - almost everything by Jason Robert Brown is pretty amazing - but very few people know about it. Its not too difficult, and I feel like it really speaks to an emotion/situation that we dont often hear about in music today. Some of the lyrics are a little contrived, but I like this piece a lot. Give it a chance!
