Thanks to musicnotes, I was able to transform his version of sheet music to match my vocals. Its cool! I wont know how effective his taught me, but I will perform my firt vocal performance tonight. Thanks musicnotes for your help!

This was my first purchase from MusicNotes and it was a great investment! As for the piece I bought, "Home" from The Wiz, I was very pleased with the arrangement musically - I took some liberties on the vocal display in order to take it from basic counts to a more stylistic flow. But for the sake of practice and learning it was very helpful! I also loved the fact that I could transpose the key. I purchased my version of the song in C, which was a better range for my voice and closer to the range in which I heard it performed in the movie version of The Wiz. When it came time for my audition, the song came together very well! My pianist was able to follow the arrangement with no problems and I got a call back!! If Im ever looking for a singular piece of music again I will certainly re-visit this site.

Great! I transposed this song from the original key to a lower one & it sounds great! I love that option on Musicnotes. Its so helpful for singers who cannot transpose their own music!

If you want to sing the key Diana Ross sang in the original Wiz, transpose it to B Major.

Home is a difficult song to begin with, mainly due to the range it requires. The melody itself is quite accurate, but the timing and phrasing of this arrangement is a bit strange, and it some parts very stilted; if you went by the score, youd be singing like a robot.
