From the movie musical Tangled, this song is a love duet sung by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi. In the animated movie, they're surrounded by hundreds of lighted lanterns in a boat, so they literally and figuratively see the light. The song is a little more folksy for a Disney movie, but it works well for the moment. The piano part brings out the guitar part of the original recording, and this arrangement includes both vocal parts.

Piano | If you have played other Disney duets, you will not have a problem with this one. I See the Light has all the aspects of a classic Alan Menken composition - a beautiful melody, heavy arpeggiation in the left hand, one key change (C to Eb), and an increasingly full accompaniment in the right hand as the piece progresses. Difficulty: 3 (intermediate). Vocal | The listed range for the piece is G3-G5, but that includes both the female and male parts, which are G3-Eb5 (lowest sustained note is C4) and Bb2-G4 (highest sustained note is Eb4), respectively. This is a relatively easy vocal duet because there are only three phrases of four bars each at the end of the song that require harmonization. If a non-tenor is singing the male part, you may find it easier to transpose the song down one or two half-steps. Difficulty: 2 (beginner / intermediate).

Very nice arrangement, has a little lengthy transition key change between verses, but I shortened & it works well.

The arrangement sounds almost exactly as it did in the movie. Its not too hard to play. I sight read it all the way through and it wasnt bad at all. Tangled is one of my favorite childrens movies so I was really pleased with this music.
