Leadsheets typically only contain the lyrics, chord symbols and melody line of a song and are rarely more than one page in length. Musicians will often use these skeletons to improvise their own arrangements. Leadsheets often do not contain complete lyrics to the song.

Torna a Surriento
One of the greatest Neapolitan folk songs ever. The words vary a great deal, and are much richer than those provided by MusicNotes. I collected the words as sung by talking to cafe waiters, bartenders, fisherman by the harbourside in Naples during the summers of 1968-76. (Needless to say, there are no authoritative text; being a popular song people often make up their own words round the basic skeleton in MusicNotes.

Torna a Surriento
I found this music easy to read and play on the piano. I was then able to sing it to a gentleman who had specifically asked me to sing it to him. As he was very ill this was a blessing.
